BA
After completing Bachelor of Arts (BA) students can opt for Master Degree course, B Ed course, go for studying Mass communication, Journalism,, sit for different competitive examination. Students can also study diploma courses in animation, film making, acting, painting, management, computer technology etc.
B.Com
Bachelor of Commerce Students can look for lucrative job prospects especially in the accounting profile. They can also opt for CA, CS, Cost and work Accountancy, Master Degree, B Ed, LLB etc.
B.Sc Physical Science
PHYSICAL SCIENCE students can opt for Master Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, B Ed, Bio Chemistry, sit for competitive examination, environmental technology etc.

Selection: Ramthakur College has a Students’ Council for the three faculties of Arts, Commerce and Science. Every year Students’ Council is elected through the election procedure conducted by the College, as per the guidelines issued by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tripura for an academic session. The Principal of the College is the President of the Council by virtue of post. The Office Bearers of the Council are elected by the voting of all students of the college. The Class Representatives are elected by voting of students of the particular Class. The Council consists of 18 members as Office Bearers. Details of council members are as follows:

The team got 3 individual prizes (1 male and 2 females character) as best character.

A group of 20 students (3 females and 17 males) as per the plan of action of Students’ Council with the guidance of Dr. (Md.) Mojahid Rahaman, Associate Professor, Department of History, Dr. Arijit Das, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry from the college premise visited the Nabaprantik Anath Ashram, Agartala. They distributed some food items and playing instruments to children of the ashram, like egg, lentil pulses, soyabin, fruits, chocolates and football, etc.

History of RTC Library | 02 | The Library is a Knowledge Centre which has rich resources mainly in Social Sciences, Humanities and Sciences. It is a two storied building. It is situated in the midst corner adjacent to Commerce & Economics department of the academic complex of the Institute and is the hub of all the academic activities of the Institute and provides comprehensive access to books, journals, reports, e-journal/online databases, e-books, electronic theses and dissertations. Established in 1967, The Central Library is the knowledge hub of Ramthakur College, It provides comprehensive access to books, journals, electronic theses and dissertations (NLIST/INFLIBNET), reports, surveys covering diverse disciplines. The College was established in the year 1967 by Late Pramod Ranjan Bhatta Chaudhuri at Town Pratapgarh in a six room structure with eight subjects in the Arts group and catered to the crying need of Higher Education by admitting all and sundry who could not procure a berth for himself or herself in the then degree college of Agartala. That was the beginning July the 17th, 1967 and then there was no looking back. Presently the college has Arts, Science and Commerce streams with approximately 3000 students. It caters to the aspirations and dreams of boys and girls of sub-urban areas of Agartala. |
