About the Department
The Pali Department was established in the year 1967 from the beginning of journey of the College to fulfil the demand of the students of Tripura State. The Department since that period initiated with one elective subject for the B.A. Pass Course . In the academic year 2008-09, revised syllabus with (1+1+1) system of Tripura University has been implemented. In the academic year 2014-2015, revised Syllabus with 6 Semesters CBCS of Tripura University has been implemented. In the academic year 2023-24, undergraduate programme as FYUG-NEP (Bachelor of Arts) has implemented in Ramthakur College. In FYUG-NEP (Bachelor of Arts), Minor and Interdisciplinary courses has introduced in Pali. At present there are 2 (two) Nos. regular faculty members and 2 (two) Nos. Guest teacher in the Department.
