About Kokborok Department
The Kokborok Department was established in the year 2015 to fulfil the demand of the students of Tripura State. The Department since that period initiated with one elective subject for the B.A. Pass Course. In the academic year 2023-24, undergraduate programme as FYUG-NEP (Bachelor of Arts) has implemented in Ramthakur College. In FYUG-NEP (Bachelor of Arts), Major, Minor and Interdisciplinary courses has introduced in Kokborok. At present there are 1 (one) No. regular faculty member and 2 (two) Nos. Guest teacher in the Department.
